Freshmen

Freshmen have an opportunity to join GUSA through elections to the GUSA Senate. Many former GUSA Presidents, including current President, Nate Tisa, were elected to the Senate as representatives of their freshman dorm.

We will be tabling for the Student Activities Fair (SAC Fair) in early September to answer any questions.

Senate Elections

Elections for the GUSA Senate are held at the beginning of the fall semester. Special elections for vacant seats are usually held during the course of the year. Candidates may run in their district, which is based on place of residence, or at-large. Instant run-off voting is used to determine the winners.
