The Student Worker Affairs Team is committed to building student worker power and advocating in solidarity and on behalf of workers on campus. We seek to be informed by the workers in creating policy and organizing to put these policies into action.

What we’ve done so far:

  •  Created student worker complaint form to report workplace problems to the team so we can help them out in their workplace

What we’re prioritizing for the rest of our term:

  • Publicize the team more and let workers know we are a resource they can use

  • Work with SEO and other departments to expand job opportunities on and off campus

  • Research working conditions and terms of employment to undergrad TA's and RA'
